The Heavy Rain Four Days Challenge was an interactive ARG crime thriller that played out online over three weeks.
Each four-day episode left the audience on a cliffhanger until finally they had to guess who the killer was. The buzz created by the campaign went way beyond those active participants.
The scope and the impact of this project was absolutely huge.
We built fake sites, planted evidence around the web and social media channels, setup fake Twitter and Facebook accounts and created a rich and truly rewarding online experience which the fans took on instantly.
Most of the sites built for the campaign had a Flash front-end powered by a PHP back-end.
The main sites was also localised into several languages.
I was deeply involved in the conception, scoping, technical direction, pitch, UX, development and overseeing the dev team during the production and delivery of this project.
